YOU are "YOU"

I've always wonder...

Nearly all rich and powerful people are not notably talented, educated, charming or good-looking.

This people become rich and powerful by wanting to be rich and powerful.

The vision of where or who you want to be is the greatest asset you have.

Without having a GOAL it's difficult to score.

So, ask yourself; why do we want to strive for excellence? Is this really important to us?

If yes, how good do you want to be then?

- Quite good
- Good
- Very Good
- Best
- The Very Best

But, have you noticed how the cleverest people at school are not those who make it in life? (Which is very true rite.)

As long as the goal is there, there is no limit to anyone's achievement. So be it, if you are the top achiever in school, if you don't have goals, clear goals in mine. I can say , 80% of you wouldn't succeed. (Just part of my theory)

I've heard a lot of people telling me that, I'll do this and I'll do that if I had the chance. Enough with the "What If".. Stop thinking about it. Whatever it is.. just don't look for the next opportunity. The one you have in hand is the opportunity... We are always waiting for the perfect thing to come. But it almost never happens.

Let me give you an example on this; You're probably working on a project or assignment right now and saying, "This is nothing important and let's just deal with it and get it over with. We'll make the next one good." Whatever you are doing right now, that's the one. Make it the best you possibly can. It may not be great, but at least you'll have the satisfaction of knowing you did the best you possibly could and you may learn something from it.

Opportunities are everywhere. Don't look so far ahead first, it is just the reach of your hands in front of you. So grab it while it's still there. Like what Author Paul Arden said; "It's not how good you are, It's how good you want to be". If you don't have plans and do not have goals, whatever opportunities comes, you will end up losing it.

Always remember this; there's no one night success. People fail, Powerful and Rich people fail before too. 'You fail, and fail again' It doesn't matter. The person who doesn't make mistakes is unlikely to make anything. Benjamin Franklin have had 10,000 ideas that didn't work. But did he failed? Yes. But just look at him, he made history. Isn't he famous? Yes, very famous indeed. Benjamin Franklin understood one theory which he believes that failures and false starts are a precondition of success. Failure was a major contributor to its success. So, in another word, you just got to fail before you succeed. "Learn from your MISTAKES, eventually you'll play your cards right after that".

Well, Success is going from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm. You just got to keep the fire in you fired up and whatever it is, you got to draw the line somewhere too. Right? It's always better to fail in originality, than to succeed in imitation. So, strive on y'all. :)

How Poor People Live

I read this great short story I received via email few days ago. Perhaps this story will give us a more refreshing perspective on how brilliant life truly is.

One day the father of a rich family took his young son on a business trip to the countryside purpose of showing him how poor people can be. They spent a day and a night at the farm of a very poor family.

When they got back from their trip the father asked his son, "How was the trip?"
His son replied. "Very good, Dad"
"Did you see how poor people can be?" the father asked.
"Yeah," the son quickly replied.
The father then asked, "And what did you learn?"
The son answered, "I saw that we only have one dog at home and they have four. We have a pool that only reaches to the middle of the garden; they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lamps in the garden; they have the moon and all the stars. Our patio only reaches to the front yard, they have the whole horizon."

When the boy was finished, his father was speechless. His son added, "Thanks dad for showing me how poor we are."

Isn't it true it all depends on the way you look things? If you have love, friends, family, health, good humor and a positive attitude towards life.. you've got everything! You can't buy any of these things. You can have all the material possessions you can imagine, provisions for the future, etc. etc. But if you are poor of spirit, then you have absolutely nothing.

"What If"

So what if...

Your favorite football team lost again and this time was at the hands of a more lowly ranked opposition... so what? You were planning a picnic today, but now there is a cold wind and is pouring with rain... so what? You just finish washing your car, the next thing you know a bird fly pass and drop a fresh poo on to your now shiny machine... so what? Your friend has spilled his or her coffee on your clean and freshly ironed new shirt, just as you were having a drink with him or her at the coffee shop nearby... so what? The trip that you've planned for so long got to be canceled; the car model that you were planning to buy next year has stopped manufacturing; the department store has run out of your size in those jeans that you've long ed for... so what?

So what?! So What?! SO WHAT?!

LIGHTEN UP!! These things are NOT important. It is mostly just a little anger, a little not satisfied, and a little thinking and it is definitely a waste of your time and your energy on it. Haha. Actually why don't we just face it. Have a good laugh on it. It really would be a funny sight to see, don't you think? Imagine that. :)

The person I am..

My life is passing by too fast to enjoy it I guess.. When I leave I will be homesick. But I think I'll miss so much to make me felt heartsick. I'll also miss the people who left a hand print on my heart and also the ones who threw me away and made me stronger. I know that friends come and go so quickly to even say I miss you. And yet I'm the person who loved too much and got nothing in return. Well, that's me and that's life!

STOP...

Stop...... Stop thinking already! Just tell that voice to "Shut the fcuk up and listen for a while!" You should know who I mean, right? He is the voice with all the answers. The voice that knows everything, the voice that has an opinion on everything and is never wrong! He is the voice you are listening to right now. Can you hear him? Yes It's your inner voice. And I would like to call him as Mr. Inneryuh...

Mr. Inneryuh is the voice in your head. He never ever shuts up and you can hear him all the time. Your relationship with him is unique and personal. He's your closest friend, your constant guide and sometimes your worst enemy. He has been educated by you and also taken lessons from whoever or whatever that had been appeared in your life; family, friends, colleagues, relatives, partner, television, Internet, radio, newspapers, movies, books and etc. His one and only, but extremely influential skill is to constantly regurgitate information he has received.

Mr. Inneryuh may speak loudly and decisively but he has no set of opinions, values and morals. However, he directs your knowledge, your fears, your desires, your passions and your opinions to be used always as his training. We always describe him as our thinking or something related to it. Mr. Inneryuh is always available to learn new stuff, as you grows he grows and when you have the opportunity to change his education, you'll change what he says to you. I guess we have to spent all of our life to develop Mr. Inneryuh and part of it should be good and some part of it should be not.

There is a saying that states, "If you continue to do what you have always done, you will continue to be who you have always been!" And "If you continue to think in the way you have always thought, you will continue to feel as you have always felt." In order to change the way you feel, you need to change the way you think. This means, we need to start re-educate Mr. Inneryuh and your life might never be the same again!

Setting GOALs

Goals are important! I guess everyone knows that to be true. There would hardly be a single person over the age of 5, anywhere on this planet, who has not set at least one goal. I have set thousand of goals! Haven't you?

Setting goals is EASY! But achieving it is an entirely different matter.

If you are nodding, as you sigh disappointingly in memory of your many unachieved goals, take heart... even the greatest achievers of this world have set goals and not attained them. The truth is, setting a goal and failing to achieve it, is not necessarily a failure at all. Instead by actually having a goal is truly a great start. But first we need to define our goals.

In defining each goal...
To know what you want.
To know when you want it.
To describe why you want it.
Have a basic idea of how you are going to reach the goal.

After defining it, write all the details of your goal on a card.
Read the card over and over again, many times each day, until your goal has been realized.

Do it for a day and when you get to the end of the day, decide to do it for another day. After you have done it for a week, do it for another week, a month, a year, a lifetime.

However, completing your goals in all areas of your live will greatly assist in developing a stronger belief in how brilliant you truly are.

Goals give us a purpose. they give us a target. Goals allow us to become more enthusiastic about where we are headed. It gives me purpose with passion and it motivates me. It does not matter one little but as to whether or not I achieve that goal. If I only make it half way, the result will still be wonderful.

Imagine this, what if you could wake up everyday with a hand on your heart, honest to goodness, absolutely genuine feeling and belief that YOU ARE GREAT, YOU ARE BRILLIANT, YOU ARE JUST FANTASTIC? Yes, you can.. I can.. REALLY can.

Just feel free to take the goal for your own. Choose it for yourself. Start each day with a routine commitment of standing in front of the mirror before you leave your home and say to the reflection you see...

"You are to have a fantastic day, because... YOU ARE GREAT!"
