Heal The World

The world is still mourning on the death of Michael Jackson - the King of Pop which passed away yesterday @ 5.31am (Malaysian time). Well, we must always remember that LIFE still goes on although MJ is not around anymore in this world but his Saga and his Legacy would always live on forever.

Posted below is a song by MJ, tittled Heal the World. I would like to dedicate this song to all the people out there who love and adore him and his song like I do. Well, this song talks about unity that unites us all together on a mission to Heal the World. Thinking about the generations in making it a better place and a better world for our children and our children's children. So that they know it's a better place for them; and to think that if they can make it a better world. Enjoy the song. Sing it, if you want!

R.I.P Michael Jackson

I've heard that MJ had slipped into a coma but did not know that he had passed away today. Not until this morning, when I find it so weird as all the radio stations were airing his all time hit songs. I thought it was just a coincidence, so I keep on changing channels until a DJ announces that he had passed away this morning @ 5.21am (Malaysian time). I was stunned and it does hit me for a while. Feeling so bizarre and tragic on this news. But was finally able to pull myself back together.

You may ask why I am so into MJ suddenly. I like his songs all along.
I grew up listening to his songs since childhood and I was born in the 80s'. Well, even my initial name was MJ (Mun Joon). My favourite songs by him includes Heal the World, Earth Song, Billie Jean, Smooth Criminal & etc. But not to forget , MJ's "Bad" and "Thriller" album (One of the most records album sold in the century). And I adore his movie "Moonwalker" so much. But there's one thing I was really amused was his dancing talent, with his all time signature dance the "Moon Walk". Well, MJ is the one artist which can never be replaced by anyone. His a good entertainer, his the King of Pop and his the Legend.

I was browsing the Internet for more information on his death and only get to know that it was a sudden death, a cardiac arrest and it was reported that MJ was unconscious and not breathing by the time he arrived at
UCLA Medical Center, and doctors were unable to revive him. He was then announced dead @ Los Angeles Medical Center @ 2.56pm (America's time) at the age of 50. It was so sad that we had lost a great Legend. His 50-year-old life may have been short, but it was an awesome journey for him. His accomplishments throughout the century are really tremendous and magnificent.

I offer my sincere condolences to his parents, siblings, children and other family members. Not to forget his friends and fans from all over the world as well. We love you and you would always be remembered. Rest In Peace, MJ!

Enjoy this great video!

Training

Training and training and training. My training was started on Monday and is going to end on next Monday. Some are interesting and some are not. Well, this is always depend on how professional the trainer conduct the classes. So far, the training was quite interesting but there's this one class which was conducted last Monday and the course was not so interesting plus the trainer was not that good compared to the other two trainers which conducted their classes today and Tuesday.

There's still another two more days to go for June training session and there are tons of training courses coming right up after this. So I guess I really need to get ready and prepare myself for the upcoming training. Well, the reasons for me to attend all this training is to brush up my skills and knowledge and to keep myself up to date in order to be more effective and efficient in my productivity throughout the years. So, strive on & Gambateh~ (",)

Ipoh StarWalk 2009 - Part 3

Well, Ipoh StarWalk event had finally ended today. This year's event was full of young crowds, there are over 12,000 walkers today participating for the event. Event was delayed for the non-competitions and was started only @ 7.45am which is half and hour late from the expected time. It was fun jogging 10km non-stop but it was damn tiring. I'm so grateful that I'm able to finish the 10km walk or to say jog within the time frame which is 100 minutes. But I am really lucky that I've managed to finished earlier than the expected time given. Got myself a certificate and lucky draw coupon but was too tired to wait for the lucky draw to commences.

Was then, seen scouting around @ Stadium Indera Mulia for some freebies especially cool / chill drinks which can offer to me after a very hot and long jog. Was later stopped by RedFm cruisers asking me to register for some contests to have a chance to win 10 grand and was later given a 7up revivie to quench my thirst. Later got a free CD for answering a song tittle and artist correctly in a "name the artist and song" challenge. After that, I walked around the stadium to check out other booths there. Booths that were there includes Digi, LG, 100 plus, Milo, Spritzer, Star, Magnum, Modenas & Nestle which is the main sponsors for the event today. Then I left the stadium @ around 9.55am and headed back home.

This year's StarWalk was really satisfying with a 10km jog, although it was very tiring but it was really worthwhile going to the event. Can't wait for the event next year. See you guys again next year for StarWalk 2010. Adios!

Snooker

After all these years of playing snooker, I've been wondering who was the i
nventor of the game "Snooker" and what was the history of the game. So I decided to browse the Internet to take a look @ the history of snooker. Here is what it is written: (Adapted from Wikipedia)

It is commonly accepted that snooker originated in the latter half of the 19th century.[4] BilliardsJabalpur during 1874[5] or 1875,[4] was to add coloured balls in addition to the reds and black which were used for pyramid pool and life pool.[6] The word snooker also has military origins, being a slang term for first-year cadets or inexperienced personnel.[4] One version of events states that Colonel Sir Neville Chamberlain of the Devonshire regiment was playing this new game when his opponent failed to pot a ball and Chamberlain called him a snooker.[6] It thus became attached to the billiards game now bearing its name as inexperienced players were labelled as snookers.[7] had been a popular activity amongst British Army officers stationed in India, and variations on the more traditional billiard games were devised. One variation, devised in the officers' mess in

The game of snooker grew in the latter half of the 19th century and the early 20th century, and by 1927 the first World Snooker Championship[4] had been organised by Joe Davis who, as a professional English billiards and snooker player, moved the game from a pastime activity into a more professional sphere.[8] Joe Davis won every world championship until 1946 when he retired. The game went into a decline through the 1950s and 1960s with little interest generated outside of those who played.

In 1959, Davis introduced a variation of the game, known as Snooker Plus, to try to improve the game's popularity by adding two extra colours. However, it never caught on. A major advance occurred in 1969, when David Attenborough who was then a top official of the BBC, commissioned the snooker tournament Pot Black to demonstrate the potential of colour television, with the green table and multi-coloured balls being ideal for showing off the advantages of colour broadcasting.[9][10] The TV series became a ratings success and was for a time the second most popular show on BBC Two.[11] Interest in the game increased and the 1978 World Championship was the first to be fully televised.[12][2] The game quickly became a mainstream sport[13] in the UK, Ireland and much of the Commonwealth and has enjoyed much success in the last 30 years, with most of the ranking tournaments being televised. In 1985 a total of 18.5 million viewers watched the concluding frame of the world championship final between Dennis Taylor and Steve Davis.[14]

In recent years the loss of tobacco sponsorship has led to a decrease in the number of professional tournaments, although some new sponsors have been sourced;[15] and the popularity of the game in the Far East and China, with emerging talents such as Liang Wenbo and more established players such as Ding Junhui and Marco Fu, bodes well for the future of the sport in that part of the world.[16][17]

That's about it. If you want to follow on Snooker / Pool Championships you may click here.

YouTube-ing Once Again

Was checking out Australia Got Talent in the Internet @ Youtube and was stumble upon a dance group where they call themselves as Shift-1. These boys are talented with their moves and routine. I somewhat got attracted to their performance, so I decided to browse and search for more of their performances @ Youtube.

Although they are not the winner for AGT '08, but they are definitely a winner @ heart. Awesome dance group, I may say. This video below is a performance by Shift-1 back in Sep 22nd 2007 (which is my birthday, fyi) @ Mercury Step Off Finals Championship. They were as good as Diversity group who were the BGT '09 Champions. Anyway, enjoy the vid!

A song by Plain White T's. This song got stuck in my head since 30th April till now!
Great song & great lyrics. Enjoy the song and watch the MV. You will even fall for it! Haha!

Lyrics:
1, 2 - 1 2 3 4
Give me more lovin then I've ever had.
Make it all better when I'm feelin sad.
Tell me that I'm special even when I know I'm not.

Make me feel good when I hurt so bad.
Barely gettin mad, I'm so glad I found you.
I love being around you.
You make it easy, as easy as 1 2, (1 2 3 4.)
Theres only one thing, two do, three words, four you.
I love you. (I love you)
Theres only one way, two say, those three words
and that's what I'll do. I love you. (I love you)

Give me more lovin from the very start.
Piece me back together when i fall apart.
Tell me things you never even tell your closest friends.

Make me feel good when i hurt so bad.
Best that i've had. im so glad that i found you.
I love bein around you.

You make it easy as easy as 1 2, (1 2 3 4.)
Theres only one thing two do three words four you.i love you. (i love you)
Theres only one way two say those three words
and that's what i'll do. I love you.
I love you (i love you) you make it easy, its easy as 1234
Theres only one thing two do three words four you I love you (I love you)
Theres only one way two say those three words
thats what I'll do i love you (I love you)
I love you I love you. one two three four I love you. (I love you)
I love you (I love you)

2nd DayOut

Woke up @ 9.30am today. Went to Summit USJ with my sister, was planning to watch 17 Again but then later instead of watching movies, we've decided to go for a few rounds of bowling games. It was fun but it was very tiring too. After that, went on for some shopping there @ Summit USJ and bought two pairs of Adidas socks @ Adidas concept store. Then went on to the Console Gaming Shop to look for some new PS2 games. Bought 3 games from the usual shop I went most of the time. After that, we had lunch @ Subway. Ate a half foot long sandwich there.

After lunch, we head to RSH Warehouse Sale for some good bargains. Met up with my brother there. Finished @ 3.30pm and I've bought myself a pair of shoe @ the warehouse sale. Went back to house very quickly and take a bath and went back out to meet up with Greg @ Asia Cafe. Played a few rounds of pool @ Asia Club and then both of us headed to KL for Nadia's Wedding Dinner. Reach PWTC @ around 6.30pm and went over to the Mall as Greg wants to shop for Nadia's gift.

After that, we went over to PWTC and waited to go in to the hall. After we were seated inside the hall, me and Greg were waiting for the banquet to start as we were so hungry. Luckily there's some tid bits on the table for us to eat. LOL if not who knows what might happened. Met Nadia and Azlal half way thru' the dinner. Chat a while and Congratulate them on their Wedding. Went back early from the wedding dinner @ around 10.15pm. I was freakin' stunned when I was paying the parking fees as it was amounted a total of RM17 bucks. Crazee shit! Don't ever park @ Seri Pacific parking bay. They cut throat! Damn! Finally, I reach home safely @ 11.00pm.

Will be heading back to Ipoh tomorrow morning @ around 11am.

A lot of movies are coming up real soon. Be patient on the waiting! Great movies are meant for us to wait!

A DayOut

Today, I've met up with Kidd. Supposedly we were going to Sunway Pyramid for movies but end up in Redbox signing and yelling our heart out. That was fun tho' screaming with high pitched voices. LOL! Had called JJ earlier to join us for our sing "K" session but he did not picked up his phone due to late night clubbing yesterday nite (That's what he told us). After Kidd & I finished singing "K" we went on for some window shopping but I ended up buying some polo tees. Haha!

After that, I got a call from JJ and eventually we met up for coffee & tea session @ starbucks new wing in Pyramid. When we were there, we were all so busy with our eyes screening thru' the place for cun chicks and pretties. To them there's none there. But, for me I was eye-ing on a girl quite cute tho' who were constantly having eye contact with me. Nuff said!

While we were drinking and sipping our coffee, the two of them were planning to go for a movie after dinner. The movie they wanted to watch was at 9.30pm "Blood: The Last Vampire". I wanted to join them for movie too but was tired after a whole day long @ Pyramid.

I left Pyramid earlier and went on to Asia Cafe to meet up with JT for dinner, while Kidd & JJ went on to buy the movie tickets. When I was about to reach SS15, I got a call from JT saying that he is on his way, so I thought there's still time for me to go checkout the bookstore opposite AC for some new mags and then I saw the latest issue of Galaxie was out as it was supposed to be out only on the 16th of this month but is already available for sale today. Weird!

After dinner, JJ & Kidd went off earlier for their 9.30pm show while JT & I were still @ Asia waiting for him to finish up his meal. Thought of going for few rounds of pool @ Asia Club but there were no tables available for us. So potong-stim la. No table, so then we decided to leave and head back home earlier. While driving back home, saw some car accidents along Kesas Highway. Scary! But I reach home safely @ 11pm sharp.

Ipoh Starwalk 2009 - Part 1

Well, I have participated in Ipoh Starwalk 2009 which will be held on 21st June (Sunday) during Father's Day. The event will be flag off @ 7am @ Stadium Indera Mulia. This event is divided into two categories: competition and non-competition. The competition category is divided into nine groups and for non-competition, there's only one group for it.

I've registered for the non-competition group and I do hope to finish the walk. Lucky draw is only eligible for those who finish off their race or to reach the finish line within the time limit. There's a lot of attractive prizes to be grab for those who have joined the competition category and for those who join the non-competition category, fear not as there are attractive goodies bag to be grab as well.

My fellow walkers, I'll see you there @ Ipoh Starwalk 2009!

Hazy days are back again!

KL is so daimn hazy. It looks a lot like Genting Highland right now, just that the weather is not as cooling as in the highlands. It is very hot and humid here in KL. Well, I guess it's time for the Government to do something concrete to eliminate once and for all the so called haze problem.

Not sure where is the source of haze come from, but whether or not it's Malaysia or Indonesia that causes this hazy problems, please find some solution to resolve this crucial problem especially there's this H1N1 case going on as well. Do act "ASAP" before it get worse as the problem has already arise.

This is really bad for us. PLEASE THINK & ACT QUICKLY!

Night @ The Museum 2

Finally i get to watch the Night @ The Museum 2 Movie yesterday night with ma peeps. Well, the movie was alrite. But i still prefer the first one. Well, i guess you guys still remember the Night guard Larry Daley, he is not anymore a night guard in this sequel, he's now a successful entrepreneur of a gadget company.

The movie was started when he returns to the Museum of Natural History to visit his friends--the exhibits that come to life at night--only to learn that the Museum is about to undergo a face lift, and many of its waxworks friends are to be shipped off to the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, DC. To make matters worse, the exhibits at the Smithsonian, including the pharaoh Kahmunrah are suddenly coming to life and the wicked Kahmunrah intent on opening a portal to another dimension that will allow him to rule the world.

Determined to save his friends, Larry rushes to Washington, D.C., and makes his way into the inner workings of the largest museum complex in the world while Kahmunrah recruits the likes of Ivan the Terrible, Napoleon and Al Capone. Larry, meanwhile, finds himself with spunky Amelia Earhart as a co-conspirator and love interest, and General Custer the one that leads the battle for the Smithsonian.

The stakes are higher in this sequel, where even the paintings on the Smithsonian walls come to life at night. The funny part was there's these three cute cluster of cherub statues which the face was the resemblance of the Jonas Brothers singing their hit song "Love Bug" in the movie. And there's 7 head gobblers Einstein. The latest addition in the sequel includes a grouchy big octopus, Able the space monkey, the thinker and also the big statue of Abraham Lincoln. Watch it before it's too late! 3 star rating I'll give.

Some of the pictures in the sequel

MPH Book Fair @ Jusco, Kinta City

Was @ Jusco today for the MPH Book Fair. This year, the variety of books are getting lesser and even the volume of books are lesser compared to the other MPH Book fairs held.

But, I manage to buy 2 books and added it to my book collection. The two books i bought was tittled "The 8th Habit" by Stephen Covey and "You Are Brilliant" by Mike Francis.

I was longing to buy "The 8th Habit" for a long time and I was lucky that the book was sitting there @ the book fair with a 20% discount. And as for the "You Are Brilliant!" book, it was not in my to buy list but i find it quite interesting to read. So i decided to buy the book too moreover there's a 20% discount for the book as well.

And book hunting was ended @ around 3pm today
.

22nd August till 31st August @ KL Convention Centre.

Angioplasty

Do you know what is Angioplasty?

Angioplasty
is the technique of mechanically widening a narrowed or obstructed blood vessel; typically as a result of atherosclerosis. Tightly folded balloons are passed into the narrowed locations and then inflated to a fixed size using water pressures some 75 to 500 times normal blood pressure. (Grab from Wikipedia)

Well, here's a brief definition of Angioplasty, an Angioplasty is a procedure where a balloon is passed into your artery on the end of a tube and is inflated to treat a narrowed or blocked artery.

I just got to know it today by browsing thru' the Internet searching for the exact definitions of it. Well, you may think, why out of a sudden I am so into these medical terms. It is important to know what does the terms means as my father was admitted to Ipoh Specialist Hospital for the Angioplasty operation himself. So i do have a need to know what does it means and how was the procedure and etc.

Well, my father's operation was started @ around 3.55pm and ended @ around 4.25pm today. Operation was very successful, thanks to the very skillful and professional Dr. Ng. My father is now resting in the High Dependancy Ward. Can only be discharge tomorrow.

Here's two pictures to show: Before and After the Angioplasty is done.

And I've learn something new today.

YouTube-ing Again

Was browsin' thru' YouTube when i encounter a video tittled "Loves Story Meets Viva La Vida". Viva La Vida song is by Coldplay while Love Story song is by Taylor Swift. It's both my favorite song so I click on it to listen. And to me, my first impression was "WOW" What a tremendous mix, superb and very unique. I fall for it right after.

Well, this song is a remix by Jon Schmidt and it was dedicated to his daughter, Sarah. Who's favorite song was "Love Story". There's a commentary right after the video. Nuff said, enjoy the vid yourself!

Monster Vs. Aliens

Just got back from movie + yum cha. Watched Monster Vs. Aliens with bunch of friends in Jaya Jusco, Kinta City @ 9pm today.

Well, this movie is about a girl named Susan who is clobbered by a meteor on her wedding day and transformed into a towering, platinum-haired giant, basically a 50-foot tall Barbie doll. She was then taken away by the government dubbed the name "Ginormica," and thrown into a secret compound.

She was then introduced to other scientific monsters including B.O.B. a big blue dim blob made from a genetically-altered tomato, bug headed Dr. Cockroach a Ph.D. mad scientist, the amphibious Missing Link and the freaky colossal hamster-bug called Insectosaurus.

These "monsters" are released from captivity when a massive alien robot sent by the scheming Gallaxhar "The Aliens" appears in San Francisco and clearly does not come in peace even tho' IT says IT does. With little time to adjust to her new stature, Susan must learn to work with her strange allies to avoid an all-out extraterrestrial invasion on Earth.

Well, the animation was hilarious as B.O.B. steals the show with his lovable yet dimwitted one-liners and also the keyboard-playing American president with his narcissistic and incompetent commandeering. Thumbs up and a 4 star rating for this animation. Watch this 3D animation and laugh your head of.

Check out the trailer here, freakin' funny:
