King Solomon wrote a proverb which said, "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he". It's not gender specific, it applies to men and women alike. Simply put, it says, "How you feel about yourself - in your heart of hearts, in the quiet inner recesses of the private and personal you, the thoughts and feelings you have from time to time - THAT IS WHO YOU REALLY ARE! And what YOU think about you is, without doubt, the most important opinion of all. Praise and encouragement from others can certainly benefit your self image, but it is what you think that matters most.
